Description Wakefield has a farmers' market on the second Saturday of each month, held in the Cathedral precinct, selling seasonal and other produce which the stallholders have either grown, reared, cooked, brewed or baked themselves. As you would expect in the heart of Yorkshire, Wakefield District Markets are an experience in themselves.
