It is the farmers themselves who attend this market giving you the
opportunity to ask them all about the products they are selling.
The
market contains a number of stalls and brings together farmers from
across the North West, selling a whole host of fresh produce.
You will always find new items on sale so make sure you visit the markets regularly to see what new produce is on offer.
A
wide variety of fresh meats including pork, venison, lamb, beef, ham,
sausages, turkey, chicken and fish (smoked salmon, trout and kippers)
are available.
Other delicious products on sale are jams,
honey, bread, a vast range of cheeses and dairy products, free range
eggs, herbs and spices, chutneys, marinated olives, sun dried tomatoes,
specialist ales and fine English wines and liqueurs.
