Never miss another farmers' market in Chichester District by becoming a member of the new Farmers' Market club. Members of the club will receive regular emails about the upcoming markets, details of products for sale, and special events and competitions. You can sign up by sending your email address to the Farmers' Market email address given in the This Page section above. Members details will not be passed onto any third party by the District Council.

Chichester, Petworth and Midhurst Farmers' Markets are certified with FARMA (National Farmers' Retail and Markets Association). This means our markets are 'genuine' Farmers' Markets. All our traders have to comply with our terms and conditions.

The main rules are:

1. All produce must have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholder.

2. The stallholder must be from the local area.

3. All processed foods must contain a minimum of 30% local ingredients where possible.

We hope you enjoy shopping at our Farmers' Markets and supporting our local farmers and food businesses.

he Chichester Local Food Fare is running from the 12th to the 14th of September. Features Include:

  • Up to 50 Local food producer and Retail stalls in the city Centre.
  • Discounts and special offers for local restaurants, cafes and food outlets
  • Many food demonstrations and tastings over the three days.
